Giants
Daily Ramble
I think Giants never ceased to live amongst us. We just stopped recognizing them. What am I talking about? Those beings with their heads in the clouds, feet on the ground, and heart in the now.
Sculpting and creating yourself in this journey of life is the noblest pursuit I have discovered. At first, it seems selfish, but that’s only because most of us consider “self” to be limited to our bodies. But that’s not true. The idea of discrete units of anything in the vast energetic web of the galaxy is not just physically incorrect, but only useful when trying to understand the world. We compartmentalize all the time to make sense of life, but it’s not life. It’s just our minds creating order out of the chaos that would be unleashed if we removed the limitations that come within the construct of words and thoughts. We know this to be true because when we try to transfer emotional states to words, the best we can do is approximate the experience. My words will never convey the exact feeling it was to become a father, for example.
Many years ago, I realized that taking conscious control of my consciousness’s evolution would be the greatest good I could accomplish in life. Again, it may seem selfish, but I can see in hindsight how it’s allowing me to offer more of myself in what I do and to interact more deeply with those I encounter. The funny thing about conscious control of the evolutionary process is that it means putting yourself into situations outside of the rational mind to allow those evolutionary steps to manifest. Yesterday, I had yet another one of those experiences, by going through a ritual my wife and I learned in the Amazon, La Purga.
La Purga entails drinking a specific plant in a juice form, waiting 5 minutes, then drinking a few liters of warm water to induce vomiting while a curandero sings songs the plant responds to. Disgusting, esoteric, and unbelievable, yes. Does it work? Absolutely. Takawasi, a medical facility, uses La Purga at their institute in Tarapoto, Peru, to increase their efficacy of drug addiction therapy. Their nine-month program has a recovery rate more than double that of any other type of therapy. My wife and I have spent many months in Tarapoto, a jungle town in the mountainous region of the Amazon, growing and healing ourselves to become more fulfilled individuals.
I cannot tell you the myriad gifts the work has brought us in our lives, but a more contented life is high on that list. And if you want to experience Giants, Takawasi is a great place to do it.

Bitcoin Price Prediction
Weekend: $39k - $49.7k
Today: $45k - $50.3k
Tomorrow: $46.2k - $52.2k
Our second major dip on the 2021 Bitcoin bull market looks to have concluded. Over the weekend the price reached down to $43k before starting its journey back north. I’m not saying that we’re going straight up from here — that’s unlikely — but I am saying that the price is very unlikely to drop below $43k now. The most likely scenario is that we will bounce around between $45k - $50k for a couple of days before breaking further up and heading for the $60k+ region. Long live the Bitcoin bull!

Q: Am I too late to buy Bitcoin?
A: Not at all.
If the thesis plays out, Bitcoin will become the world reserve currency, operating as the store of value and unit of account for the world. With 7.64B people on the planet, if you own more than .00274 BTC (21M BTC divided by 7.64B people), you own more than the average person. At today’s price of $49k per bitcoin, that works out to $135. If you don’t own .00274 BTC, it’s a good excuse to get started.
