Daily Ramble Our family spent some time with Swedish friends yesterday, showing them around Sintra. As we would move from car to building, I would have to remind to have masks handy. See, in Sweden, they aren’t required to use masks. Our guests are not habituated to mask-wearing like the rest of us in the western world. There were guidelines implemented to reduce risks, some folks were asked to work from home, and general precautions were given, but it was nowhere near the heavy-handed approach most of the western world implemented.
Thanks for the scenery outside the US. Personally what worried me most is the almost "cult" like mentality I see with the mask situation. I live in the Southeast US and and a top 5 City. The masks were not really mandatory except at big retail chains. I still see some with masks on while driving or double masks walking around outside etc. and range in age and race. Despite the overwhelming evidence its almost like a Trend? Politically irrelevant, it just makes me think and worry this is a global phenome. It is not healthy in so many ways!!
